Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clinic spots are limited, and staffing and gym time are committed in advance. Because of this:

• Registration fees are non-refundable except as described below.
• If your player is injured or must withdraw, email us at aceshoops@gmail.com and we’ll issue a credit toward a future DBA clinic.
• If DBA cancels a session, you’ll receive a credit or refund for that session.
• The processing fee portion of each registration is non-refundable.

To request a credit or ask about a cancellation, email aceshoops@gmail.com with your receipt number.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you register a player, we collect: the player’s name, date of birth, and grade; the parent/guardian’s name, email, and phone; an emergency contact; an optional authorized-pickup contact; optional health information you choose to share (allergies, medications, medical conditions); and your typed waiver signature with the date and IP address at the time of signing.

Why we collect it

To run the clinic safely, communicate with you about the program, process your payment, and keep accurate registration records.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.

How it’s stored and who sees it

Registration information is stored in a secured database and is accessible only to DBA administrators and coaching staff who need it to run the clinic. We do not sell your information. We share it only with our payment processor (to take payment) and with the coaching staff (to run the clinic and respond to emergencies). Payments are collected by Always Competing Sports LLC on behalf of the booster club, as noted above.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand basic, anonymous site traffic. It may set cookies. We don’t use your registration data for advertising.

Keeping & deleting your information

We keep registration records only as long as needed to run the program and for our records. To ask what we have on file or to request deletion, email aceshoops@gmail.com.

Children’s information

We only collect a child’s information from the registering parent or guardian, and only what’s needed to run the clinic safely.

Terms of Registration

• Registration is an agreement with Always Competing Sports LLC, which collects the payment on behalf of the clinic’s organizing booster club and remits it to them. The clinic is operated by Downer Basketball Academy / the booster organization.
• Participation is subject to the liability waiver & code of conduct you agree to at registration, including acknowledgment that basketball activities carry an inherent risk of injury.
• Photo/video: DBA may use clinic photos or video for promotion only if you check the optional consent box at registration.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy above.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
